The main mission of the club is to purposefully, in accordance with the standards and other regulations issued by the FCI, develop the breeding of Swiss Mountain Dog breeds, which include:

• Bernese Mountain Dog (Berner Sennenhund)                                            ( BSP  )
• Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (Grosser Schweizer Sennenhund)            ( VSP )
• Appenzeller Mountain Dog (Appenzeller Sennenhund)                         ( APZ )
• Entlebucher Mountain Dog (Entlebucher Sennenhund)                          ( ESP )

The club publishes a newsletter and calendar for its members, organizes club exhibitions, youth meetings and certifications. The breeding committee helps in the selection of breeding dogs and organizes litter checks and registration in the stud book of the Czech Kennel Club. The club cooperates with the organizers of breeding meetings and training events. It develops contacts with other breeding clubs.
